1945 – End of World War II : The Allied Powers divided Germany into four occupation zones, and its capital of Berlin into four sectors.
1949 – Beginning of Cold War: The Federal Republic of Germany allowed by the US, British and French zones in the West. as an answer, the Soviet Union establishes the communist German Democratic Republic (GDR) in their eastern zone, but fails to push the three Western powers out of Berlin because of massive influx flyin of supplies called Berlin Airlift.
1950s: Overwhelming economic success of West Germany, boosted by the US Marshall Plan, and increased political repression at home which boosts the numbers of East Germans seeking a better life in the West. The GDR walls off the entire inner German border, leaving Berlin as the last loophole to the West.
On August 13,1961 : All crossing points between the East and West Berlin are closed by German Democratic Republic forces. Building of the Berlin Walls begins.
August 22,1961 : The Berlin Wall claims its first of several hundred victims, when Ida Siekman falls fatally while attempting to escape to the West by jumping out of her apartment window at Bernauer Strasse. To this day,the exact number of Berlin Wall victims is unknown.
On June 26. 1963 : President John F. Kennedy pays visit to Berlin, reaffirming US support for this walled outpost of freedom with his famous “Ich bin ein Berliner!” (“I am a Berliner!”) speech.
On June 12,1987 : President Ronald Reagan delivers a speech in front of Berlin’s iconic Brandenburg Gate in which he demands: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”
1989: Amidst increasing economic failure of the communist regime, the first protesters bunch up in Leipzig with demands for democratic reforms and individual rights. Their reform movement quickly spreads to all major cities in the GDR.
On November 9,1989 : USSR yields to this peaceful revolution wishing to buy time, the GDR leadership lifts all previous travel restrictions to the West. Right before midnight, tens of thousands gather at the Berlin Wall. The border guards cannot hold them back. On the other side, joyful crowds hug and greet the first arrivals. October 3, 1990 in Berlin Germany re-united: on October 3, 1990 a big party celebrates German unity when 45 years after the end of World War II.
1990 – October 3: After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it was to be yet another 11 months before Germany was finally reunited.
During the first and last free elections to East Germany’s Volkskammer or parliament, on March 18, 1990 the East German electorate voted by an overwhelming majority for those parties that demanded swift unity with West Germany.
In summer 1990 a treaty to this effect was negotiated by the two Germanies. East Germany gave in to West Germany on October 3, 1990. This has now been celebrated as the Day of German Unity and is an official government holiday in Germany.

Oliver North was to become a hero by getting grilled by Congressional Commie lovers on live nationwide TV. Sadly North used all his hero capital on a Senate seat instead of an easy win for a Representative seat.
Later North secured his retirement pay by adding Reagan into the loop of who knew about the alleged Iran/Contra goings on which were a Democrat invention. Many feel Admiral Poindexter presented phony documents to start the Iran/Contra Affair because he wanted his retirement pay, and he knew he would be denied it if he did not give in. Can’t really blame him any more than Oliver North. Obviously communist aims includes US presidents who opposed communism.

Current Communist Goals EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Thursday, January 10, 1963 .
Mr. HERLONG stated:
Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently she published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the very real dangers posed by communism in America.
At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war. (We even developed atomic cannon for battlfield, then did not use them nor did Brits.)
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war. (Bad publicity and sympathy for colaterally damaged Japanese, though many American lives were spared not going island to island to beat the Japanese.)
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength. (Democrats favor unilateral disarmament via military budget slashing.)
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. (Sanctions against Cuba remain, we buy tons of products to help out Communist China and
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

Apparently by March 18, 1990, the UN had forgotten all about supervision when the first free elections to the East German parliament were held. Founded 40 years previously, the communist German Democratic Republic (GDR) for the first time gave its people the opportunity to vote and express their opinions. The result of the East German parliament’s 400 members, 294 voted in favor of reunification. Only 62 voted against reunification. Reunification brought a swift end to East Germany as a state. 3)

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
Most people do not know there was a bonified legitimate Communist Party of the USA from 1919 to the early 1950s. The Communist Party had candidates for various offices, from President to City Council, had conventions and were rather conspicuous.4)
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. A popular TV show was “I Led Three Lives”.
Herbert Arthur Philbrick who was born May 11, 1915 at Rye Beach, N.H., U.S. later died Aug. 16, 1993, North Hampton, N.H.), U.S. Herbert (Herb A.) Arthur Philbrick was a counterintelligence agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) who spied on the Communist Party of the United States during the 1940s.
Philbrick, who studied engineering at Lincoln Technical Institute of Northeastern University in Boston, in 1938, became an advertising salesman. Making a sales call, he became interested in the Massachusetts Youth Council and later helped to set up a subsidiary organization in Cambridge, University. Slowly Philbrick came to the realization that the Massachusetts Youth Council was controlled and used for propaganda by the Communists. That’s when the citizen and Communist, became an FBI spy.5)

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.
43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

When the Name is a LIE...Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was voted REPEAL by a vote of 245-189, only three Democrats had the decency to vote sanely with the citizens. Fully 188 unlearned Democrats and a dispicable RINO "RepubliCRAT" voted to save the travesty.
The U.S. House approved the repeal bill on a 236-to-181 vote with four bright Democrats namely Reps. Dan Boren (Okla.), Larry Kissell (N.C.), Mike McIntyre (N.C.) and Mike Ross (Ark.) These fellows joined Republicans to vote in favor of repeal of the ill-fated debt-exploding measure. All four were sane, sober and sensible enough ro vote against the health-care overhaul last year. Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) charged that Republicans had thrown "fiscal responsibility out the window." (1) He allegedly was sane, sober and sensible at the time but may have been dropped on his head as a baby and has never denied that.
Rep. Keith Ellison voted against its repeal and lied about 32 million people noy being covered by a health care, pocket-picking unconstitutional travesty.
Nancy Pelosi lied about 130 million losing out on coverage THROUGH HER TEETH on nationwide television! Recall she was also delutionally a LIAR about 500 million out of 350 million being unemployed MONTHLY.
GOP chair Tony Sutton leveled charges in a statement, "While Peterson pretends to be a centrist, he continues to oppose repealing this dreadful bill which raises taxes on small businesses, cuts Medicare for seniors and contains an unconstitutional mandate requiring Americans to buy private insurance."
Rep. Tim Walz voted against its repeal and gave a LOOONNG sob story about a guy who will be doomed to part-time work FOREVER lke Hawaiians if Obamacare CRAP is not repealed. A diabetic can buy his own strips, stick himself, and give tiny shots to himself after seeing a doctor ONCE. Or lose weight by eating less and dieting on a few raw carrots which burn calories AND avoid diabetes entirely.

Jim Clyburn voted against repeal and stooped to playing his race card, somebody thought up for him calling "The 21st Century Civil Rights Act". For him everything is a civil right. He was told that it was a way to wave a stick it to "YT".
Shiela Jackson Lee declared on Neil Cavuto that REPEAL was "killing Americans". Shiela Jackson Lee declared herself," like an immigrant I arrived in the country shackled"!!!!!!!!!! Mathematically brilliant she declared," ONE and ONE is........................TWO!"
About a bill, Rep. Shiela Jackson Lee marveled that it was,"closing the donut hole"!!!!!
This may be contagious as Tom Huntley said,"getting help with the costly donut hole." in his line of excuses for voting exponential debt on the US when we cannot even afford the interest with 9.6 unemployment.
"Obamacare, as we know, is the crown jewel of socialism. It is socialized medicine," stated Rep.Bachmann from the House floor immediately before the victorious vote. "The American people spoke soundly and clearly at the ballot box in November and they said to us, Mr. Speaker, in no uncertain terms, ‘Repeal this bill.'"

Then Bachmann said, "And to those across the United States who think this may be a symbolic act, we have a message for them: this is not symbolic. This is why we were sent here and we will not stop until we repeal a President and put a President in the White House who will repeal this bill, until we repeal the current Senate, put in a Senate that will listen to the American people and repeal this bill."
